Behind the Scenes Video: Making the June Issue

Every year, the June issue of San Diego Magazine is devoted to the best restaurants in the city. Even while votes from the Best Restaurants poll are still be tallied, our creative team is debating what will grace the cover. Decadent desserts, indulgent coffee cake and hand-made pasta were all in the running. Calderon Films joined photographer Sam Wells and San Diego Magazine Creative Director Laurie Nicoud on set at Extraordinary Desserts and Bencotto to capture the action. Watch the behind-the-scenes video to see all of the options and which dish landed the starring role.
