There’s no better way to savor that last day before New Years’ resolutions start to kick in than by indulging in a four-course tasting menu. 7p.m.-11p.m. $79.50 per person; additional $20 for wine pairings or $40 for premium wines.
Chandler’s at Hilton Carlsbad:
Make the last meal of the year one to remember with a three-course prix fixe menu and entrée selections of crab-crusted sea bass, veal osso bucco, and a surf and turf duo of beef tenderloin and lobster tail. $75 per person; $35 for wine pairings and champagne.
On New Year’s Eve, choose between a seafood buffet at California Bistro, a four-course dinner at Argyle Steakhouse. If four-courses isn’t enough head over to Vivace for an elegant five-course dinner. This New Year’s Eves, Mille Fleurs will feature two different seatings, an a la carte menu from 5p.m. to 6:30p.m., and a five course prix fixe menu from 7:30p.m. to 9:30p.m. Special dishes include center cut swordfish steak, whole dove sole “meuniere” and sautéed veal sweetbreads.
