For the first time ever, Cirque du Soleil is taking their moves to the ice. In Crystal, the acclaimed performance troupe will combine their signature acrobatic stunts—aerial spins, gravitydefying balances—with half-pipes and triple axels during a five-night run at Valley View Casino Center.
All the action takes place on an ice rink, which meant finding special footwear for the acrobats and calling on world championship figure skater Kurt Browning to coach the dancers. Skater culture never looked so sophisticated.
