Nearly 200 guests enjoyed a celebration of all things creative at the annual Lux After Dark gala. The event combined the traditional with the unconventional by having fortune tellers, tarot readers, and a henna tattooist to entertain guests between silent auctions. Hot-ticket auction items included a stay at a luxury New York penthouse, exclusive passes to Art Basel Miami, and a limited series of clay sculptures created by internationally acclaimed Finnish artist Jarmo Mäkilä. All funds raised support exhibition and education programs at Lux, including the new 7,000-square-foot Education Pavilion that opened in April and offers a variety of classes and programs for kids and adults.
