San Diego’s palm trees and beaches evoke a bohemian vacation vibe. But a fashion-forward one? Not so much. New York–born sisters Jeanne and Merrie Craig want to change that. After nearly a dozen combined years in Manhattan—Merrie worked in marketing, while Jeanne studied and worked in fashion—the duo landed in San Diego with a goal to bring Big Apple style to Little Italy. At their recently opened Little Apple, the Craigs have curated a cool, Soho loft–like space with leather pieces, polished blouses, and graphic jumpsuits from brands like Rails and Fifteen Twenty, along with geometric jewelry and accessories.
