Beyond their Taco Tuesday tradition—hosted from 3 to 10 p.m. with discounted tacos, margaritas, and beer—Carnitas’ Snack Shack’s new waterfront location on the Embarcadero has launched a Reverse Happy Hour series on Fridays and Saturdays with $5 drafts, $6 wines, and $10 specialty cocktails from 9 p.m. to midnight, with a side of live DJ music.

Smooth spirits and a cozy, communal atmosphere combine for a romantic date or nightcap at Prepkitchen hosted on Fridays and Saturdays from 10–11:30 p.m. Many of the happy hour appetizers, like the rest of the menu, are made from locally sourced ingredients. Order the sangria pitcher ($25) or Oaxacan on Nutshells cocktail for a bold and smoky option.

For true night owls, West Coast Tavern’s late happy hour runs from 11 p.m. until close Sundays through Wednesdays. The menu spans wine, apps, and cocktails like the Burro (el Jimador tequila with orange bitters). Take note: They’ve added crowd favorites like the Five Spice Wings and mule pitchers, and they serve their full menu until 12 a.m. every night.
