Best of North County Party 2012
It’s one of our biggest parties all year and it’s happening again on Friday, April 26 at 6:30. To give you a taste of what will go down at the Park Hyatt Aviara in Carlsbad, I’ve made a list of my favorite things about this annual party…
1. Souvenir wine glasses (I collect one every year!).
2. Last year my friend won a free Nothing Bundt Cake. It was HUGE!
3. Two words: Tree performer.
4. Plus more surprise entertainment (top secret—even I don’t know who or what it is!).
5. Park Hyatt Aviara (the venue) is a ridiculously beautiful property, and partying there always makes me feel very posh. It’s good for the ego.
6. Both Mia Francesca and Davanti Enoteca will be there, so I can get my Italian on. I have a hollow leg for pasta.
7. Vintana, Herringbone, Orfila, Burlap, Roy’s.
8. Where else can you get food from fine dining places like Addison as well as “fast casual” joints like Rubio’s? It’s all about mixing high and low.
9. Live music and dancing: Last year my date did clapping push-ups. Beat that!

10. The Mobile Photo Booth—so you can text fun pics to all your dum-dum friends who forgot to buy their tickets HERE.
