We cannot wait for Baz Lurhmann’s highly anticipated remake of The Great Gatsby—opening Friday!
Whether or not you’re a fan of Lurhmann’s explosive, fast-paced, and occasionally controversial style (as seen in films like Romeo and Juliet, Moulin Rouge, and Australia), one thing is certain: the costumes by production designer Catherine Martin will be absolutely amazing.
For added glamour, the filmmaker and creative team tapped Tiffany & Co. as the exclusive visionary behind all of the movie’s jewels. To get a sneak peek, watch this fun YouTube video with interviews from Martin and actress Carey Mulligan, who plays Daisy Buchanan.

Tiffany & Co. also created a special collection of swoon-worthy items to accompany the film’s release. We included a few highlights from the collection on our May style page, which is all about “Gatsby Glam.” In addition to jewels, we included modern interpretations of Jazz Era styles by Alice + Olivia, Ted Baker, and more that are very wearable today.
