Join our Blackletter Calligraphy workshop for beginners where we will explore writing with a broad-edge parallel pen. This versatile tool allows you to create the thick and thin strokes that define the Blackletter style.

Blackletter, also known as Gothic script, is a beautiful and intricate style of calligraphy that has been used since the 12th century. Today, Blackletter remains a popular choice for tattoos, certificates, logos and various forms graphic design.

Who should attend?
This workshop is encouraged for students of all levels, including someone who has never taken a calligraphy class before.
Pointed pen calligraphers who would like to learn broad-edge calligraphy techniques.

In this 3-hour session, we will cover
The basics of broad-edge calligraphy
How to create thick and thin strokes with a broad-edge parallel pen

Materials included
3.8mm Pilot Parallel Pen (green cap)

Enjoy complimentary snacks and beverages.
Space is limited, so be sure to register early.

*Note: This is a two-part workshop. The uppercase alphabet will be taught on a separate date, and you will need to purchase the ticket separately.
