Mexican street food is the star of the menu at Curadero, the reconceptualized restaurant at Gaslamp’s Kimpton Hotel Palomar. Designed by Studio Unltd, Curadero’s got bright art from respected street muralist Neuzz. Tiles pop in vibrant Chiclet colors, and old metal gives it that cantina vibe.

Chef Brad Kraten (former sous chef at Spago) has a crudo bar, apps like the classic hominy stew posole, entrées (carne asada sirloin), and a Mexican breakfast menu (chilaquiles, canasta de pan, etc.). The bar serves over 80 Mexican spirits (tequila, mezcal, bacanora), and the second-story Arriba Room promises street tacos and classic arcade games.
