Festa Fish Fry

United Portuguese SES Hall May 18, 2013

The Portuguese community of San Diego hosted its 61st annual Fish Fry, kicking off the Festa 2013, the city’s oldest ethnic festival. The Fish Fry commemorates the deep-rooted history of Portuguese fishermen in Point Loma. This year’s event was held outside, with ocean-themed decor. More than 500 guests dined on fresh seafood and participated in a live and silent auction. Proceeds benefitted United Portuguese SES and the San Diego Center for Children.
